We have posted the results from surveys in six more contested congressional districts:

Illinois 8th
Illinois 10th
New York 19th
New York 20th
New York 25th
New York 29th

These polls were conducted October 15th and 16th. We last surveyed IL-08 at the end of August; the others races were not previously covered by Majority Watch.

  1. Yeah these polls are heavily leaning to the dems—all of them. I know that 3 of the NY races weren’t polled before by independent groups but is there a discrepency or something?

  2. I hope you realize that you’re predicting that the state of New York will have a 90% Democratic Congressional delegation ater the election….....please don’t insult our intelligence.

  3. Gerald – look at the Georgia results after ‘94 – no one would have believed that a deep-south conservative but Democratic state like Georgia would have elected so many Republicans either – in a tidal wave, it can happen. This is particularly true in very moderately conservative New York state, with 2 very popular (per the polls) Democrats at the top of the ticket.
